雁過長空 – Across the Endless Horizon

We’re pleased to announce the forthcoming release of an instrumental track called, 雁過長空 – (Yan Guo Chang Kong) also known in English as, “Across the Endless Horizon”.

Originally planned for release two years ago, the track was shelved and recently remixed. We’re happy to announce the official release date of December 8, 2023, available on all streaming platforms.

“Yan Guo Chang Kong” takes its inspiration from the historical book of Chinese Zen Buddhism called “Wu Deng Hui Yuan” dating back to the Southern Song Dynasty in the year 1252.

The song title is inspired by an idiom that appears in the ancient text. Literally translated, it means “wild geese flying high in the sky without leaving any traces.” In the proper context, it’s a metaphor describing how the past is in the past; no traces or shadows are left behind.

The track prominently features the Chinese Erhu and Guzheng. Listeners will be taken on a musical journey that melds the modern beats and rhythms of the 21st century with the classical sounds of ancient China.

Come back on December 8th to listen to the track. We’ll provide links to the song.

We hope you’ll enjoy it!

Much Peace and Love,
